The users can divide the core web vitals into three categories based on the page speed and user interaction of a web page. LCP (Largest Contentful Paint):

The LCP measures how much time your website is taking to show the most important content on the screen. Here, you should keep in mind that it will not consider the total time that your website is taking to load the content on the user’s screen. For example, if you have a simple web page that has text and a large image, this large image is the LCP. This is the largest piece of content that the browser has to load. If you will allow it to load quicker, your website will appear much faster on the user’s device. This metric is just similar to the First Meaningful Content. It will show that there is something to show to the users on your website.

To understand it simply, you should know that it is the time that your website will take to load the largest element of your website. This largest element can be in the form of an image, video or any other kind of content. After knowing LCP, you will have to optimize your website for LCP. You should make sure that LCP should happen just within the first 2.5 seconds of the page loading. If your website is taking 4 seconds to load LCP, your website requires improvement. On the other hand, if your website is taking more than 4 seconds to load LCP, it means that it is performing poorly. You will have to seriously consider its performance.

FID (First Input Delay):

If your website is appearing in the top of SERPs, your website can get good web traffic. When they will click on your website, the browser has to load your website. FID is the time that browser will take to respond to the first interaction of the users. If a browser is reacting fast, it means that your website is more responsive. As a website owner, if you want to provide a positive user experience to the users, you will have to work on the responsiveness of the website. The delay will happen when the browser has to do other works along with loading the page.
